Green tripe · Meal topper
Raw, unbleached beef tripe to mix into your dog's Pure Meal. It's a topper, not a meal on its own, so keep it to 10% of the bowl.
Green tripe is raw, unbleached beef stomach lining. Dogs love the taste and smell, but tripe alone doesn't give them everything they need, so it should make up no more than 10% of the bowl. Mix 1 part tripe into 9 parts Pure Meal.
Feeding a Gourmet Blend? Skip it. Every Gourmet Blend already has 10% green tripe in the recipe.

Pure Beef Tripe is intended as ameal topper, not a complete and balanced meal on its own. Mix approximately 10% beef tripe with 90% of your dog's complete Pure Meal. Introduce gradually, starting with a small amount and increasing over time as tolerated.
If you're feeding a Raw Performance Gourmet Blend, additional tripe is generally unnecessary, as these recipes already contain green tripe (Gourmet Pork is an exception).
Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in a sealed container in the refrigerator and serve according to your usual raw food handling practices.

Tripe isn't a meal on its own. Keep it to 10% of the bowl and mix it into a Pure Meal. Gourmet Blends already have 10% tripe, so don't add more. Work out your dog's full daily meal
These values are for the tripe alone. Fed at 10% of the bowl, most of your dog's nutrition comes from the Pure Meal it's mixed into.
Add 1 part Pure Beef Tripe | Bulk Case 24lbs to 9 parts Pure Meal. Skip it with Gourmet Blends: they already have 10% tripe. See all Pure Meals
No. Green tripe is a topper. On its own it doesn't give your dog everything a Pure Meal does, so keep it to about 10% of the bowl and mix it into a Pure Meal.
About 10% of your dog's food for the day. A 50 lb adult dog eating 1 lb a day gets about 1.6 oz of tripe mixed into 0.9 lb of Pure Meal. Use the feeding guide above for your dog's weight. If your dog is new to tripe, start with a spoonful and build up over a week.
There's no need. Every Gourmet Blend already has 10% green tripe in the recipe, and so do Performance Blend and Chicken + Lamb Blend. Add it to Pure Meals instead.
It's raw and unbleached. Tripe sold for people is scalded and bleached white; green tripe isn't, so it keeps its natural brownish-green colour and its strong smell, which is a big part of why dogs like it.
Keep it frozen until you need it, then thaw it in a sealed container in the fridge. It has a strong smell, so a lidded container helps.
