What do I do if…

The customer says First thing to try Escalate when
"He won't eat it" Let it come to room temperature — cold food doesn't smell. Then add tripe or kefir. Then try another protein Not eating at all for more than a day — and never with a cat
"Loose stools" Usually too much, too rich, or too fast a change. Step back a stage. Pumpkin kefir. Healthy Gut Blood, or lasting more than a couple of days
"Constipated" Often too much bone or a recent bone. Reduce bone, add moisture Straining, painful, or more than a day or two
"White crumbly stools" Normal after a bone. Nothing to worry about If it's constant without bones
"He's vomiting" Too much too soon, or too rich. Slow the transition Repeated vomiting, lethargy, or anything alarming
"Detox — soft stools in the first week" Normal and settles in a few days Not settling after a week
"He drinks less water" Expected. Raw is ~70% moisture. Fresh water still always available If they're also lethargic
"He eats poop" Common, unpleasant, not a food fault Persistent — vet
"Short weight / foreign material / smells off" Get the Best Before date off the tub — that's the batch number. Offer a replacement. Report it to us Always report it

🚫 The line you do not cross

You are not a vet. A sick dog, ongoing digestive problems, or a dog on medication is a vet conversation.

"That's worth a conversation with your vet — and once you've had it, come back and I'll help with the food side."

Nobody thinks less of you for saying that. They think a great deal less of you for guessing.
